3 1/2 weeks- wake up activity moment

Real Food

Of course Momma's milk is the first real food-ha!  These guys are advanced mentally and neurologically..eyes and ears opened early, up on their feet walking, eating, barking, kissings,growling etc...I love having a litter that is growing so well. this is at 2 weeks and 4 days.

The pile is growing!  The quality in this litter looks extremely nice! I also like the basic temperaments I can already detect.

all 9 lined up

For those who want a good look right now here are all 9.  They take up a lot of room now and were lined up so nicely.  A labeled by sex from left to right: Boy,girl,girl,boy,boy,girl,girl,girl,boy.

Two weeks old

TWO weeks old today!  Fairy Kiss girl had one eye open 2 days ago...photo attached...So eyes and ears almost all completely open.  This is a delicate stage...after all, it's a whole new world being able to see and hear.

1 week post

These were taken 2 days ago and I can see how much they changed in the 2 days already.  I will update more as we go.  Eyes open at 14 to 18 days and will likely take individual shots then.

Dog breeding can be difficult.  Mostly the hard parts are largely outweighed by the happy. But I have lost two puppies, 1 blue girl and 1 blue boy.  I do have nine puppies that are doing well and are beautiful.  I'll update with photos next time.

Pups and Luna- Day 3

Day 3- We have taken a good turn.  Luna is frisky-back to herself ( with a Super Mom added to her abilities).  And pups much more full and robust.  I am still tube feeding the 2 smaller ones as needed and I am still setting my alarm clock for 2 hour checks. Luna was SO happy to discover a NEW toy on the floor that I got this morning at TSC.

They're here!  Via-c-section early this Sunday morning Luna was on the table at 4:30.  We have 11 puppies!

5 boys, 6 girls.  2 boys are black and 2 girls are black and all the rest are blue merle. Hopefully all will make it.  I have some intensive care for Luna and pups and must keep a close eye on them.

Luna-New Years Day- day 59 and counting
